UGANDA
In January 2025, we launched a transformative educational initiative in Uganda, a school dedicated to equipping students with practical, marketable skills that empower them economically while helping protect them and their families from the dangers of human trafficking.
Uganda faces significant socio economic challenges that place many individuals, particularly in certain regions, at heightened risk of exploitation. By addressing these vulnerabilities through skill based education, this program is already helping to create a safer, more sustainable, and more hopeful future for individuals and families that are the most in need.

Hair Salon
At our school, we have a licensed and professional trainer that teaches the students the necessary skills to know how to do hair. This program also brings awareness and provides training that will empower them to be safe, protected, and less vulnerable to human trafficking. Each student that is able to complete the 6-month course will graduate with a license to work at a salon or operate their own business. 50 young women have successfully graduated from this program and most found jobs shortly after graduating.

Sewing School
Regeneration International Inc. is launching a sewing skills training program in Uganda designed to protect and empower girls who are at high risk of sex trafficking. Beginning in March, 2026 the program will equip participants with practical sewing skills that lead to income opportunities, increased independence, and long-term protection from exploitation. Our goal is to reach 50 students each year, while also investing in sewing machines that will allow the program to continue serving and empowering many more women in the future.
